When Asbestos Removal Is Required in Colorado

Under CDPHE Regulation 8, licensed asbestos abatement is required when a project will disturb more than 50 linear feet of pipe insulation or 32 square feet of other surfacing materials in a single-family home, and more than 260 linear feet of pipe or 160 square feet of other materials in a commercial or public building. Smaller projects must still be performed using safe work practices and may trigger notification requirements. We handle inspection coordination, lab testing, and CDPHE notification on your behalf.

What We Remove

Popcorn and texture ceilings, 9x9 and 12x12 vinyl floor tile and black cutback mastic, sheet vinyl flooring, drywall joint compound, plaster, transite siding and flue pipe, pipe and boiler insulation, vermiculite attic insulation, and HVAC duct wrap. If you're unsure whether a material contains asbestos, we coordinate certified inspection and lab testing before any work begins.

Our Asbestos Removal Process

We isolate the work area with 6-mil poly sheeting, run HEPA-filtered negative air machines to keep fibers inside the containment, suit out in full PPE and respirators, and remove material using wet methods to suppress dust. Waste is double-bagged, labeled, and hauled under manifest to a licensed Colorado landfill. The containment stays up until an independent third party clears the air.
